Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy is a time during which many changes occur within the woman's body, both physically and mentally causing stress, discomfort and occasionally pain. As the baby grows, its causes misalignment of the body, pelvis gets thrusted forward creating extra pressure on lower back, thighs and hips. This can have a follow on chain effect of the rest of the body such as neck/shoulders.
Massage assists us to relax, reduce stress and anxiety, reduce muscle tension, reduce fluid retention, reduced cramps, reduce headaches, sciatica and improves sleep. Studies have shown the more relaxed, nurtured, healthy and rejuvenated a mother is the better the outcome for both her and her baby for birth and after (post natal).
