What to Expect

On your first appointment you will be given a client history form to complete.  For this reason, please arrive 10 minutes early before session so it does not consume into the treatment.  I will take a few minutes to discuss about your goals for the session (priorities, area to be assessed), including finding out about your general health, lifestyle and stress levels.  Postural assessment and muscle testing may be performed if required.  I will explain the pressure scale so you can control the session.  Your feedback is important as massage and bodywork are most effective when the body is not resisting.  Also so that you can enjoy it to your comfort level.

Massage is traditionally performed with the client unclothed, removing everything except underpants.  However, you may undress to your level of comfort.  I will step out of the room so you can undress privately and you will be provided with a towel/ drape.  You will be properly covered for warmth, comfort and privacy during the entire session.  Only the area being worked on will be exposed.

My massage waxes are beeswax based combined with various oils plus essential oils.
